Allis Electric: Reliable Energy Solutions for Uninterrupted Power Supply
Tweet

New uninterrupted power supply (UPS) technologies have been used in a variety of demanding IT and industrial applications across the world over the last decade. Transformer-less UPS systems featuring insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) rectifiers, which increase power density, efficiency, and other electrical features, have been widely adopted by the industrial manufacturing sector. Modular designs have been complemented with improved power density, making room for scalable, redundant systems that are simple to deploy and concurrent maintainability. Addressing the demand for more energy-efficient power supply in consumer electronics and the global trend of industrial automation is Taiwan-based Allis Electric Co., Ltd. The company manufactures state-of-the-art UPS solutions, specializing in fabricating transmission and distribution components.

With September 25, 1968, marking its genesis, Allis Electric set up its first factory to produce low-voltage switchgear, motor control centers, high/low-voltage integrated start-up panels, and AC/DC industrial control apparatuses. Over the past several years, its steady and efficient operation processes led to the development of equipment for power solutions such as transformers, switchgear, cutting-edge UPS devices, switching mode rectifiers, and photovoltaic (PV) Inverters.

Allis Electric’s products are designed by incorporating the specific requirements of its clients. As a prime power equipment producer concentrating on developing transformers rated up to 36KV, Allis Electric offers a complete line of oil-immersed, cast resin, rectifiers, and current transformers. Additionally, the company manufacturers reactors and cast resin products such as busbar insulation sleeves for the metal-clad switchgear and VCB insulation cylinders.
The firm’s low-voltage, metal-enclosed switchgear is designed to regulate and safeguard power circuits such as fans, pumps, lights, and equipment that operate at 220V, 240V, 380V, 480V, or 600V. These switchgears are adapted for power centers such as large electrical stations, auxiliary power circuits for fans, blowers, and auxiliary power drives for machine tools. The firm has garnered a fine reputation by tailoring each device according to the unique, individualist needs of its clients across the world, including the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Toshiba, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. Allis Electric has been able to maintain a stable, consistent growth scale and expanded into the telecommunications and high-tech industries thanks to a successful public offering in 1994.

The firms’ solutions are now catering to the IT, wireless, telecommunication, utility, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) industries. Furthermore, Allis Electric—while conducting trade operations—does not limit itself to the region of Taiwan. It continues to build strategic business alliances in its hunt for excellence as an international corporate group through investments, joint ventures, and the construction of offices abroad in Europe, US, and China. As a result of these partnerships, the company has access to an international pool of esteemed R&D talents. The R&D team is dedicated to the research and production of an array of electronic power products in telecommunications, power, rail, and environmental protection fields and package software products that support a variety of power monitoring systems.

Allis Electric continues to improve its core competencies to be more customer-oriented and generate value for its stakeholders, based on its 36 years of experience delivering world-class power solutions.
